Fill History
Picaro keeps a history of generated outputs so you can review and manage past exports.
Viewing history
Section titled “Viewing history”The fill history shows a list of all generated documents with:
- Template name
- Export date and time
- Export format (DOCX, PDF, or both)
- Status (success or failure)
- Output file name
Filtering
Section titled “Filtering”Filter your history by:
- Status — Show only successful or failed exports
- Tags — Filter by template tags
- Labels — Filter by custom labels you have applied
- Date range — Show exports within a specific time period
Labels
Section titled “Labels”Labels help you track the status of generated documents beyond the export itself. Common labels include:
sent— The document has been sent to the recipientapproved— The document has been reviewed and approvedurgent— The document needs immediate attentiondraft— The document is a draft version
Adding labels
Section titled “Adding labels”- Open the fill history
- Find the export record
- Click Add Label
- Select or create a label
Using labels for filtering
Section titled “Using labels for filtering”Apply labels to exports, then filter the history by label to quickly find related documents.
Opening generated files
Section titled “Opening generated files”Click on any export record to open the generated file in your default application. This works for both DOCX and PDF files.
