Fill History

Picaro keeps a history of generated outputs so you can review and manage past exports.

The fill history shows a list of all generated documents with:

  • Template name
  • Export date and time
  • Export format (DOCX, PDF, or both)
  • Status (success or failure)
  • Output file name

Filter your history by:

  • Status — Show only successful or failed exports
  • Tags — Filter by template tags
  • Labels — Filter by custom labels you have applied
  • Date range — Show exports within a specific time period

Labels help you track the status of generated documents beyond the export itself. Common labels include:

  • sent — The document has been sent to the recipient
  • approved — The document has been reviewed and approved
  • urgent — The document needs immediate attention
  • draft — The document is a draft version
  1. Open the fill history
  2. Find the export record
  3. Click Add Label
  4. Select or create a label

Apply labels to exports, then filter the history by label to quickly find related documents.

Click on any export record to open the generated file in your default application. This works for both DOCX and PDF files.
