Is this really a one-time payment?
Yes. Starter and Pro are single payments — no subscription, no hidden fees, no annual renewals. You pay once and keep the app forever, including all updates within your major version.
What happens after the free tier limits?
The free tier limits are hard caps: 3 templates, 10 rows per bulk fill, and a watermark on PDFs. To lift these limits, upgrade to Starter ($19) or Pro ($39). Your templates and settings carry over.
What is the PDF watermark?
Free tier PDFs include a centered footer on every page: "Made with Picaro Free — picaro.app". It is visible and professional-looking but clearly marks the document as generated by the free version. This is the single biggest reason users upgrade.
What are repeating table rows?
Repeating table rows let you include line items in your documents — like invoice items, purchase order details, or contract schedules. Instead of one value per placeholder, you can loop through a list of items and render a table row for each. This is essential for invoices, POs, and any document with multiple line items.
What is the contact book?
The contact book lets you save frequently used values — client names, addresses, company details, bank accounts — and pick them from a dropdown when filling a document. It pre-populates fields so you only enter the unique values each time (invoice number, date, amount).
How does the Team plan work?
The Team plan is $79/year and includes 5 seats. Each team member gets full Pro features, plus access to a shared template library, admin controls, and an audit log. Additional seats can be added. The annual price covers updates and support.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Start with Free, upgrade to Starter or Pro whenever you need more. Your templates and settings are preserved. Team plan upgrades include a migration path for shared templates.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer a 14-day refund window for Starter and Pro purchases. If the app does not fit your workflow, contact us and we will process a full refund — no questions asked.
